Among e 10 commandments stands 1 called 'honor your father and your mother'.
'honor' is a weird word 2 use dun u think? doubting my vocab, i checked e collins dict n gt this: to hold in respect or esteem, to show courteous behaviour towards, to show great respect, regard, esteem etc.
after wondering awhile, i decided 2 check e dict. 4 e accurate meanings of each word.
Esteem: to have gr8 respect or high regard 4
Respect: an attitude ofdeference, admiration, or esteem; regard
Deference: submission 2 orcompliance wif the will, wishes etc.
e 1st thot that occured to my mind was e lack of LOVE. God is a God of love, y doesn't He command us 2 love our parents. does that mean He expects us 2 only be in admiration but wif no luv? has he expected that luv 4 ur parents may nt come? or may nt b deserved? i gotta ask God wen i go 2 heaven. it shall bug me 4 e rest of my life
